While out running this morning, I spotted graffiti that said (translated): "black people don't like pea soup".

I'm still trying to figure out if that's slang that I don't get, a negative statement, or a positive statement.

I'll try to get a picture later this weekend...

Found in Amsterdam, written on the side of a school. I worry that as economic conditions worsen, this kind of anti-immigrant rhetoric will become more commonplace. Anger expressing itself at the Muslim community in the Netherlands.

Much of this was in a specific area of the Arab Quarter. Since I saw so little elsewhere (understandable, given Singapore laws) I had to wonder if it was officially or unofficially allowed in these streets.
