Sunday Salon: What is your literary comfort food?

It's a busy Sunday for work with me, lots of work to catch up on. Budget Hell, to be exact. It is also the last Sunday Salon for me for the next few weeks. On Tuesday we're off to Sicily for a vacation and I somehow doubt that my mind is going to be on books during my trip. :)

What with all the stress, I find that I'm only sipping books at the moment. And I'm mostly sipping quite comforting books at that. For me this means light cozy classic mysteries-- either Golden Age British or the more hard-boiled US counterparts.

I have a friend who reads only YA when she gets stressed. If she's really really stressed, she reverts to the Little House on the Prairie.

So now I'm curious. What do you read when stressed? Any kind of particular favorite for comfort food? Let me know in the comments below.
